Voices Upon the Wind
Book 2: Voices Upon the Wind
Voices Upon the Wind is the second novel in the author’s “People of the Stone” series dealing with some of the controversial issues in the peopling of the Americas at the end of the last ice age.
Unlike the first novel, which dealt mainly with the origins and technology of the different peoples, this story is concerned more with their relationship to the land they moved across and the ways they began to focus their views of the changing world they lived in. It is a tale of hope in the face of desperation and how the emergence of new ideas and new leaders can help people in any time and place to overcome both the known and unknown forces which seem to be arrayed against them.
